A collection of non-financial tokens (NFTs) will be launched by Wladimir Klitschko, the two-division heavyweight champion of the world, to aid Ukraine in its ongoing confrontation with Russia. Klitschko and his brother Vitali, who is the current mayor of Kyiv and a former champion boxer, have become faces of the country’s military resistance and have chosen to fight on the front lines despite their celebrity status.Β  These facts have established them as icons of Ukraine’s armed resistance. The money raised via the collection of non-perishable food items will be given to UNICEF and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, among other charities. Artist WhIsBe, a New York-based designer and boxer Vitali Klitschko will cooperate on a high-end NFT collection, which Metacurio will present. This company specialises in the creation of non-traditional materials.

A total of four NFT versions of WhIsBe’s extremely popular “Vandal Gummy” bears will be created for this project, each of which will be painted in the colours of the Ukrainian national flag: yellow and blue, as part of a more extensive campaign to raise awareness of the Ukrainian national flag. It is anticipated that the collection will be accessible on the NFT marketplace, OpenSea, over the next several weeks. The drop sale will run for three weeks, starting on March 9 and concluding on April 1. After that, it will be open to the public.

The collection is titled ‘Vandalz for Ukraine: WhIsBe x WladimirKlitschko,’ and will be available at three different price points. The NFTs will be available in three distinct models, each with a different cost structure ranging from $100 to $1,000 to $10,000. Because participation has been democratised in this way, everyone may participate without worrying about the financial burden it will have on their wallet. Aside from that, the organisation plans to host a one-of-a-kind NFT trading session just for the $1M version of the game. All parties involved in the case have agreed to forego their respective fees.

The usage of bitcoin and digital assets has enabled Ukraine to earn hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue since the beginning of the war. Ukraine’s Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced earlier this week that the government would welcome financial help in the form of cryptocurrencies and other virtual currencies and assets. Over the course of the year, the Bitcoin community has raised more than $70 million in charitable contributions. In addition, during an auction held on the 2nd of March in 2022, an NFT depicting the Ukrainian national flag was sold for $6.75 million.
